Torey Adams- 16 years old; punched Christopher Creed for playing his guitar; feels bad when Chris disappears because he realizes that he should have been more nice to him; good friends with Ali; going out with Leandra
Ali- her parents are divorced; she is stressed out; her mom's boyfriend is a jerk; people assume that she had something to do with Chris's disappearance; known to be promiscuous and smoke cigarettes.
Chris Creed- not a popular kid; gets beat up and made fun off; has controlling parents; sent email to the principal saying he wants to leave, and feels that if people want him gone he will leave; he disappears and nobody knows if he committed suicide, ran away, or if he was murdered.
Albert- Mrs. McDermott's boyfriend. He comes over in the middle of the day to sleep with her, even if the kids are home. Ali and her brother Greg can hear the noises, and it makes them uncomfortable. However, he loves that his noises make them uncomfortable, and has even asked Ali if she enjoyed them while her mother wasn't around.
Chief Bowen- Renee and Ryan's dad. He is the police chief in Steepleton, and is very involved with the Chris Creed case. He has dealt with Bo a lot, and has a hatred toward him because he told his kids that he has been sleeping around with Ali's mom. He later resigns.
Torey's Mom- Mrs. Adams is a lawyer. When Torey, Bo, and Ali get in trouble, she tries to help them out. She vouches for them against Chief Bowen, because she knows that they didn't kill Chris Creed. When Ali and her brother don't want to stay at home, she allows them to stay at her house for a while. She believes that Chris is still out there, and doesn't want to be found.
